Dallas/Fort Worth has seen the roll-out of e-commerce provider Grab’s order-at-table technology (OAT). The company says this gives passengers the convenience and control to order from their own devices without the need to download an app. Whether customers want to order and pay digitally, or solely use contactless payment to pay their bill, OAT allows travelers to have more choice about how they buy their food, without missing out on any of the traditional hospitality experience.
Grab says that by giving guests the ability to browse menus, place their orders and pay their tabs from their own devices, the typical high-touch aspects of the sit-down dining experience are removed, and staff can focus on low-touch food production and fulfillment to keep guests and staff safer.
