Sydney Airport in Australia has partnered with software developers Discovery Technology to launch a newly updated digital platform for passengers in Terminals 1 and 2.
The new package includes faster wi-fi speeds throughout the two terminals and a ‘wall garden’ homepage, which sends users targeted notifications for news, competitions, flight details and the latest retail and dining offers. The airport has also integrated SCALA media software with the wi-fi network allowing advertising, entertainment and travel specific content to be displayed across a number of in-terminal digital screens.
