Dunkermotoren, a brand of AMETEK and drive technology manufacturer in the black forest - Germany, provides more than 70 years of experience in developing and producing innovative, flexible and high-quality drive solutions made in Germany.
Thanks to its broad modular system including brushed and brushless DC motors, AC and linear motors, gearboxes, brakes, encoders as well as integrated and external control electronics, individual drive solutions can be configured from 1 to 5,000 Watts.
Smart motors and IoT Services
Dunkermotoren offers smart BLDC motors with integrated or external electronics with bus and Industrial Ethernet interfaces such as CANopen, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT or PROFINET. Thanks to the MotionCode programming software, drives can easily be programmed and parameterized to set individual motion profiles. The IIoT brand nexofox extends the Dunkermotoren portfolio by adding smart services around the use and networking of its smart motors. Nexofox helps implementing cloud-based platforms and decentralized motion concepts and enables features such as condition monitoring and remote control.
Dunkermotoren supports the implementation of EN 17352
Drive solutions from Dunkermotoren are low-energy mode compatible, can safely be set torque-free or include reversible gearboxes to allow manual movement in case of an emergency. With these features, Dunkermotoren can contribute to fulfil additional safety requirements according to EN 17352 when designing power-operated access control devices such as turnstiles, swing lanes and retractable lanes.
