New York-headquartered airline JetBlue has relocated its operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Among the facilities and processes affected were ticketing, check-in, gate assignments and baggage claim. All relevant airport signage at O’Hare was updated to reflect the changes and passengers were notified by email of JetBlue’s moved to Terminal 2.
JetBlue currently operates an average of seven daily departures from O’Hare. Its relocation to Terminal 2 is part of O’Hare 21, an historic terminal expansion program that is transforming O’Hare from curb to gate. The US$8.5bn investment is bringing new gates, increased travel options and an improved customer experience to ensure O’Hare meets the needs of the traveling public through the 21st century and beyond.
JetBlue’s first departure out of Gate G2 took place on Wednesday, July 31, at 5:30am.
