Brussels Airport Company has signed on as anchor partner of the PlugandPlay Travel & Hospitality program in Europe, joining Vienna Airport, Star Alliance and Swissport.
PlugandPlay is a global open innovation platform, enabling, moderating and facilitating collaboration between established companies and startups. Brussels Airport Company intends to use the new collaboration to drive open innovation within the airport ecosystem and to position itself as a key player in aviation innovation.
Active on five continents, PlugandPlay runs more than 50 accelerator programs each year, enabling innovation in 300 major organizations. Last year the company invested in 220 startups.

PlugandPlay Travel & Hospitality Europe is dedicated to travel, and unique in Europe, with more than 30 worldwide partners in the travel sector, such as airports, airlines, hotels and travel agencies.
Together, Brussels Airport and PlugandPlay aim to create a seamless end-to-end travel experience for the more than 25 million passengers that travel through the airport every year.
