Tecno has revealed its new Aeris seating system at this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam.
Exhibiting at Stand 8085, the Aeris system is designed to make airport environments comfortable, flexible and adaptable to the different needs of passengers. It provides corner or back-to-back seating configurations and is equipped with USB ports to meet the growing demand for technology on the go.
Up to five seats can be aligned together with the option of attaching tables. The armrests are available in two heights, and the seats are offered in four sizes in addition to a chaise-longue option.
Aeris has been designed in partnership with Grimshaw Architects, which specializes in designs for mobility and high-traffic locations.
Giuliano Mosconi, Tecno chairman, commented, “These collaborations are part of an ongoing relationship between Tecno and Grimshaw, a comprehensive contribution in which the company becomes a factory for the design and provides the architects with its own production know-how and technological innovation.
“Tecno translates Grimshaw’s expertise in industrial design, producing a sophisticated product that results from thorough analysis of complex environments.”
