Royal Schiphol Group, the operator of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands, has officially opened its renovated Holland Boulevard public area located between Departure Lounges 2 and 3.
Alongside a whole host of new retail outlets passengers can explore Dutch art and culture in peace 24/7, and can even enjoy a spa treatment. The area is also home to the Airport Library, with around 500 books by well-known Dutch authors, translated into more than 40 languages. Finally, travelers can explore the renovated Rijksmuseum annex and exhibition, which provides a detailed introduction to 17th-century Dutch painting.
Tanja Dik, director of consumer products and services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, said, “We have renovated Holland Boulevard to enhance the comfort and travelling pleasure for our passengers. I am proud that Amsterdam Airport Schiphol can offer this experience.
“Holland Boulevard is a place for you to stretch your legs after a flight, to go wandering among the Dutch masters, to curl up with a good book on a comfortable settee, to enjoy a fellow passenger’s piano playing, or to enjoy attractive shops and restaurants.”
