Luxembourg Airport has officially opened nine new dining and retail outlets in partnership with concession operators Lagardère Travel Retail and SSP.
The openings are the final stage of a wider renovations project that also involved the inauguration of four new stores earlier in the year, including the first Starbucks outlet in Luxembourg.
The latest concepts include SSP’s Oberweis restaurant and shop, the Lux Brewery bar, Moselier and Petit Moselier bars, Panopolis snack outlet, and Comptoir du bon pays self-service restaurant. Lagardère also opened its new Aelia Duty Free offering.
Gérard d’Onofrio, general manager, SSP France, Benelux, said, “Our offering promotes innovation and quality and we are proud to contribute to this renovation project alongside lux-Airport.”

Michel Pérol, general manager, LS Travel Retail France, said, “Passengers can henceforth avail themselves of a complete range of the finest products of major national and international labels, in totally renovated commercial premises. We are convinced that this fine commercial tool will contribute to the successful development of Luxembourg Airport and the satisfaction of its passengers.”
Johan Vanneste, general manager of lux-Airport, said, “These new shops give our airport a brand new dimension, with a new range of high-quality products, national and international brands, and modern and dynamic design for shops and restaurants. All initial reactions from our customers have been very positive.”
