Swedish airport operator Swedavia has hired Johan Bill as the new director of its Major Projects division. Bill will replace interim director Joakim Kedbrant, who has led the department since it was formed on January 1, 2018. The Major Projects team will oversee all of Swedavia’s large-scale investments and will provide synergy between concurrent development programs.
Jonas Abrahamsson, president and CEO of Swedavia, said, “It is gratifying to be able to welcome Johan Bill to Swedavia and to the role of director of Major Projects. Bill has both the knowledge and the experience that are needed to take on the assignment.”
Bill most recently worked for the Swedish Transport Administration where he was in charge of its Major Projects operational area, which includes the authority’s largest infrastructure projects. He has also worked as the regional manager for construction firm Skanska and as CEO of technology consultancy Bjerking.
Kedbrant will continue as acting head of Major Projects until August 6, 2018, when Bill will take over and form part of Swedavia’s group management team.
