Tampa International Airport in Florida is to host an airport-wide hiring day event to fill about 445 positions.
Tampa International’s event will run from 9am to noon on Thursday, September 14, in the Main Terminal Event Space between the shuttle stations for Airsides E and F. The employers hope to fill these positions to help with the increased passenger traffic that comes with the holidays at TPA. Some companies will conduct on-site interviews and applicants may be hired on the spot, so jobseekers should bring two forms of identification.
Southwest Airlines, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FedEx are among more than 20 businesses currently expected to participate in the event. Additionally, the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, which operates Tampa International Airport, will be among the shops, restaurants, rental car companies, ground handling services and other TPA businesses accepting applications. No RSVP is required to attend the event. Free parking will be available in the Economy Parking Garage. Attendees should take the SkyConnect train to the Main Terminal for the event.
