Franck Goldnadel has been elected to ACI Europe’s board of directors. He is already the chairman of the board of French airport management group Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, and a member of the board of directors of the Union des Aéroports de France (UAF), which operates 156 airports in France. From these positions, Goldnadel’s experience as a manager of major and regional airports is expected to bring a broad vision of the issues related to air travel, developing the attractiveness of French regions and decreasing the carbon intensity of aviation operations.
Goldnadel explained, “I am very proud to have been elected to the ACI Europe board. Alongside my peers, I will work to accelerate the transition to the carbon neutrality of our operations as much as possible to prepare our infrastructures for the new challenges of air travel, in order to support the innovation that defines it and which, in the future, will allow for the growing adoption of new fuels, biofuels or electric motorization. As a laboratory for the airport of the future, Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur has defined a path for the future and is involved in adopting the best practices of other airports to ensure that air travel remains on an ideal trajectory as well as a lever of economic growth for the regions.”
