Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) has opened its newly modernized Business and Senator Lounges at Zurich Airport’s Lounge Center A. The new-look lounges have been aligned to the needs of short-haul premium travelers, with facilities that include separate lounge entrances and digital access control.
In addition to the traditional reception desk, each of the separate entrances to the new Business and Senator Lounges also feature two automated entry gates permitting swift boarding-pass access to the lounge concerned.
Inside, the new-look facilities include a bar area with views of the Airside Center, workstations, individual offices and a relaxation room complete with loungers.
For travelers wishing to freshen up before their flight, the new facilities offer five showers that are accessible from either lounge. The food areas include both a large bistro section and a front cooking zone.
The design and interior of both the new lounges include bright oiled, Swiss oak parquet floors and elegant furniture from local Swiss designers Vitra and deSede.
The Swiss Business Lounge will be available to all Business Class travelers of Swiss and the Lufthansa Group, as well as Miles & More Frequent Travellers and Business Class travelers on Star Alliance airlines. The Senator Lounge will be exclusively available to Miles & More Senators, Star Alliance Gold Members and First Class travelers on Star Alliance member airlines.
