Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIA) has unveiled an additional dining and relaxation facility at its domestic terminal, T1-B.
The Oasis Lounge, in Departures, is managed and operated by Lite Bite Foods (LBF). It has been designed specifically for stopover fliers waiting for their connecting or delayed flights, and is available throughout the day.
The new lounge has a beautifully soft, yet rich, multi-hued interior, with spacious couches, and intricate design. Travelers using it can choose from European, Indian and Asian cuisines, as well as having access to a well-stocked bar. Breakfast, high tea and midnight snacks are also available, for a fee. The Oasis Lounge offers both buffet and à la carte options. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.
MIAL ensures that the needs of its 48.83 million passengers are met by upgrading its infrastructure and introducing state-of-the-art facilities when required. The airport serves 52 destinations in India and the decision to introduce the Oasis Lounge was driven by 7.1% domestic passenger growth in 2018-19.
