American Airlines has officially unveiled its new arrivals lounge for premium passengers landing at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 (T3).
The multimillion-dollar lounge provides weary travelers with a calm oasis, including access to 29 spa-like shower rooms and an express clothes-pressing service. A business center and meeting room are also available for business travelers looking to maximize their time on the ground.
Gemma Ward, manager premium customer services – Europe and Asia Pacific, American Airlines, said, “Our newly designed arrivals lounge reaffirms our presence and commitment to enhancing the customer experience in London, the city that pioneers international premium travel.”
As part of the enhancement, American Airlines has extended its partnership with culinary firm Rhubarb to provide a fresh and dynamic menu for the lounge. Known for catering some of the world’s foremost events, including Goodwood Festival and the Olympics, and its most famous venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall, Rhubarb has designed a seasonal menu for American Airlines, which is updated every four weeks.
Current highlights include Eggs Benedict with York ham; superfood salad with broad beans, avocado, pomegranate and organic seeds; and mango and lemon poached chicken with lemon thyme-scented couscous.
A wide selection of healthy options and dishes for those with dietary requirements are also available, including fresh fruit smoothies, protein pancakes, and gluten-free options such as tomato, feta and basil salad with sumac dressing.
