Sydney Airport has launched a request for proposal (RFP) for a new signature bar in its domestic Terminal 2.
The hospitality opportunity will play an integral role in the terminal’s existing food and beverage offering, providing a relaxing spot for passengers to enjoy a drink before their journey.
Glyn Williams, Sydney Airport’s general manager for retail, said, “This signature bar will be the pinnacle of the food and beverage experience at T2, and we’re looking for an innovative partner with the vision and creativity to deliver a truly unique and contemporary experience.
“We are committed to delivering exceptional food and dining innovations across a range of price points at Sydney Airport.
“We are excited to evolve the offering at T2 and further enhance the airport experience. I’m looking forward to being wowed by creative and dynamic submissions as part of the process.”
The RFP details the desire for a contemporary and well-executed bar menu with a variety of options throughout the day. The desired innovative design concept will create a focal point within the terminal.
The new bar will complement the ongoing transformation at the terminal. The area already offers a range of healthy and indulgent food options, a new comfortable seating area, new future and better connectivity.
