Three retail, food and service providers have opened stores at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport), just in time for the holiday travel season.
“We are committed to enhancing the airport experience by serving passengers,” said Brett Kelly, vice president, Fraport Maryland, the developer and manager of the retail program at BWI Marshall Airport. “Our latest additions to the program respond to specific passenger wants, and we’re very pleased to welcome The UPS Store, Urban BBQ and Diva By Cindy to the BWI Marshall community.”
The 600ft² (56m²) UPS Store is located pre-security near the Concourse C exit in the main terminal and offers packing, shipping, printing and small business services, including notary services, office supplies and passport photos. The store is open from 7:00am to 9:30pm.
Also situated in Concourse C, the 1,250ft² (116m²) Urban Bar-B-Que Company restaurant honors different barbecue-making traditions with a full menu of made-from-scratch creations, plus breakfast and kids’ menus. Urban also offers signature cocktails, premium wines and craft beers from local brewers, and is open 4:30am-11:30pm.
Diva By Cindy is located in Concourse D and offers natural, alcohol-free hair care products including shampoos and conditioners formulated with B vitamins to help prevent hair shedding and breakage and stimulate hair growth. Owner Cindy Tawiah also supports homeless women and survivors of domestic violence by offering shampoos, pampering and a day of rejuvenation
“During this holiday season, we are working to ensure that our customers have more quality food and retail choices, including both local and national products and services,” said Ricky Smith, executive director of BWI Marshall Airport. “We thank Fraport Maryland and our individual concession operators for offering a high level of customer service and excellent options for our travelers.”
