Mac + Cheese Kitchen, Elevate Gourmet Brands’ newest concept, has been awarded its second Bay Area lease, at San Jose International Airport.
With a bar dedicated to local beer and wine selections, Mac + Cheese Kitchen’s menu highlights include The BBQ Pulled Pork Mac with a sous vide cheddar cheese blend, slow-roasted pulled pork and Green Beans Cold Brew BBQ Sauce. Mac and cheese dishes can be customized with a broad selection of toppings, and signature sides will be available, as will healthy, gluten-free and non-GMO options, as well as salads.
Elevate Gourmet Brands’ concepts are famous for their pastry displays and this location will be no different, featuring a full selection of sweet and savory pastries. The breakfast menu will offer a selection of brioches.
“The industry is responding to this brand in a way we haven’t seen before,” said Ebon Glenn, Elevate Gourmet Brands’ long-time Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partner.
“Mac + Cheese Kitchen is really the first gourmet mac and cheese concept in the airport space. Diners are always on the lookout for something new and airports have become the place to showcase new concepts,” he added.
The first Mac + Cheese Kitchen Bay Area outlet, at San Francisco International Airport, is at the build-out stage.
