Custom SpA has revealed its new TK302 advanced ATB and BTP ticket printer at Passenger Terminal Expo 2015 in Paris, France.
Custom SpA says that the new printer is able to answer to any operative need and is equipped with the latest-generation RFID technology, both HF (short distance) and UHF (long distance).
The printer can be fitted with an internal barcode scanner to validate tickets with pre-printed barcodes, making it suitable for other applications where the risk of fraud is high and the access controls must be reinforced.
The TK302 can print up to 200mm (8in) per second on different ticket widths ranging from 20mm (0.8in) to 82.5mm (3.2in). The device is easily adjusted by the user and integrates a customer display and Ethernet interface, which allows for complete remote monitoring and real-time diagnosis of the printer status.
The embedded client mail can send automatic emails to inform users about a possible support request or to ask for a paper change, with personalization options such as logos and fonts downloadable.
Other features include:
– Veriprint printing head with embedded scanner unit
– Multi-feeder: to manage up to three kinds of tickets
– Internal barcode scanner
– Internal RFID HF/UHF encoder
– Frontal metal or plastic tray
– Roll holder or fan-fold paper
