Passengers at Munich Airport in Germany will be able to make the most of Euro 2016 and enjoy matches in an arena environment following the conversion of the Munich Airport Center (MAC) into an ‘Airport Stadium’.
Travelers are invited to view the day’s soccer matches on a large 450ft² LED screen mounted on the center’s Meta Twist Tower. All matches will be shown live on the screen until July 10, 2016.
Admission to the 2,000-seat grandstand is free for all games except Germany matches when limited availability means that tickets will be sold for €5 (US$5.70) online, or €7 (US$8) at the airport. Tickets for children 3–6 years of age and persons with mobility restrictions will cost €3 (US$3.40). Online tickets reserved for the Germany matches should be picked up no later than one hour before kickoff.
