This year’s Passenger Terminal Expo, taking place in Amsterdam on March 14-16, promises to be the biggest event yet, with more than 5,000 attendees including 225+ exhibitors and 375+ international speakers.
Passenger Terminal Expo and Conference is one of the most important events in the airport and airline industry calendar, where visitors can hear from a number of industry-leading guest speakers and network with fellow professionals to discuss the hottest topics affecting airports.
Industry-leading suppliers will showcase their latest and most innovative products in the main hall of the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre, with product launches from the likes of Materna and Rimowa, who have partnered to create a self-service digital bag-tag and bag-drop solution that enables passengers to drop off their luggage without touching a printer. Analogic will also be launching the latest version of its ConneCT hand luggage scanner for the European market, which allows passengers to keep liquids and electronics in their carry-on baggage.
The Passenger Terminal Conference program kicks off at 8:50am on March 14, with an opening address by Jos Nijhuis, CEO and president of Schiphol Group, the operator of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This will be followed by nine sessions on the first day alone, including a presentation on New York’s LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Program by Stewart Steeves, CEO of LaGuardia Gateway Partners; and a panel discussion focusing on customer service transformation in a digital world. The first day is then rounded off with the Skytrax World Airport awards ceremony and drinks reception in the exhibition hall.
Alongside the exhibits and conference speakers, guests will be treated to another event highlight in the form of Passenger Terminal Expo’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and Gala Dinner, taking place at Beurs Van Berlage on March 15, from 7:00pm.
