Jost Lammers, the next CEO of Munich Airport’s operating company, has been officially introduced by the supervisory board chairman Albert Füracker, the Bavarian State Minister of Finance, Regional Development and Home Affairs.
Lammers will succeed Dr Michael Kerkloh as the president and CEO of the German airport on January 1, 2020.
“Munich Airport is vitally important to Bavaria and its economic competitiveness. It has an outstanding global reputation and is Bavaria’s gateway to the world. We are therefore delighted to have recruited Jost Lammers for this role. We are confident that he will keep Munich Airport on course for success,” said Füracker.
Lammers responded, “Over the past two decades, Munich Airport has taken its place alongside Europe’s most important aviation hubs. As demonstrated by the traffic statistics and financial performance of the company, the management team and the entire airport crew have done excellent work. I’m very much looking forward to writing the next chapters in this airport’s success story together with our team and in a close dialog with the airport’s partners and neighbors.”
