Manchester Airports Group, owner and operator of Manchester Airport, has revealed more details about what passengers can expect at the airport’s new PremiAir private terminal.
PremiAir is set to open to guests traveling with partner airlines in September 2019, and prices start at £50 (US$64) per person. There will be a number of packages available to suit passengers’ needs including a Priority package which targets travelers going on short breaks or those traveling for business with just their hand luggage. Priority passengers can arrive at the airport just 60 minutes before their flight where they will receive a personal welcome, dedicated security channel and luxury transfer across the airfield to their aircraft.
For £100 (US$128), passengers can choose the Premium package, which, in addition to the benefits of the Priority package, offers lounge access, including views of the airfield; complimentary food prepared by a resident chef; and a wide selection of beverages, alongside complimentary wi-fi, newspapers and magazines.
For £125 (US$160) per person guests can experience the Arrivals package and enjoy a private transfer to the PremiAir terminal and dedicated passport control channel when they arrive back into Manchester Airport. Guests will also be able to enjoy all the comforts of the PremiAir lounge, while their hold luggage is personally returned to them.
Guests can also opt to book a round trip of their chosen package, with total starting prices beginning at £175 per person, a price which will give guests all the advantages of the Priority and Arrivals products, with further upgrades available. Furthermore, PremiAir will offer groups of between five and 50 guests access to one of its three Private Suites. Prices for these suites are available on enquiry.
Mart Louwerse, the new general manager of PremiAir, said, “As MAG promised when they announced the project, PremiAir will offer affordable luxury and we are proud to be able to provide a private jet experience from just £50 (US$64) per person. The Premium package will represent some of the best hospitality in the Northwest and will allow guests to start and end their trip in style, with personalized service and top-quality food served alongside fine wines and Champagnes.”
