Texas-based Jacobs, a global solutions provider for the built environment, has hired Mark Lobel, IIDA, as a customer experience expert for transit architecture.
A design expert focused on improving customer experience at airports, retail and transit projects internationally, Lobel is based in Dallas and will work with a global clientele.
Over the last decade, Lobel has worked on high-profile projects at large airports, both in the USA and internationally, to help improve the travel experience for passengers through enhanced shopping, dining and entertainment design while seeking creative ways for airports to generate additional non-aviation revenues. In addition to airports, his remit will include other large-scale transit-related projects.
“Mark’s passion for improving service to the traveling public will serve our clients well,” said Lisa Chill, director for Jacobs Interior Solutions – South. “His thoughtful approach to design and how it helps transportation facilities maximize their resources helps solidify our position as a trusted advisor across all aspects of the transit industry.”
Prior to joining Jacobs, Lobel worked for Corgan, another global architecture and design firm.
