Queue management specialist Tensator will bring its new Tensator Micam Protection (TMP) panelling system to Passenger Terminal Expo 2018.
Ideal for incorporating into an airport’s queuing environment or for use as a wall lining solution, TMP responds to the growing terrorist threat in airports by providing a blast-resistant queuing solution that can better protect bystanders and contain potential hazards in the event of an explosion.
TMP uses reinforced glass fiber to ensure the barriers are strong enough to absorb the force of a blast without shattering. Instead, the panels are designed to stretch on impact, reducing the amount of debris generated.
TMP barriers are certified by Aviation Security in Airport Development (ASIAD), a UK Department for Transport (DfT) body. They are also resistant to graffiti and heat, and are designed to complement the rest of Tensator’s range of queue management products, such as the evergreen Tensabarrier.
Visitors to stand 1225 will be able to see Tensator’s full range of innovative passenger journey and queue management solutions that increase efficiency and improve safety within airports around the world, including its latest access control solutions, call forward systems and digital signage options.
