Denver International Airport has opened a new art exhibit for passengers to enjoy in the Jeppesen Terminal, featuring abstract drawings and paintings highlighting the twists and turns of the Colorado landscape.
The Abstract Landscape Colorado exhibit has been created by local artists Mindy Bray, Wopo Holup and Heather Patterson and features gold and silver gilded landforms, patterned environments and brightly colored systemic landscapes.
It is derived from the public art commissions awarded to artists in 2014, which are now featured within the airport’s new Westin Denver International Airport hotel. The new displays will provide passengers with a look at the types of artwork inside the hotel located at the opposite end of the terminal.
