Changi Airports Group (CAG) is set to take over operations at Jaipur and Ahmedabad international airports in India.
The two airports are currently operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI), but a report by news site The Economic Times claims that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, signed an agreement between CAG and AAI during a visit to Singapore.
R K Srivastava, chairman for AAI, reportedly said that it was a government-to-government decision and there was no bidding for the contract. The report also states that the details of the contract, such as the tenure and financial terms, are yet to be finalized.
