Sydney Airport in Australia has announced that it will be opening a Coopers Alehouse and Hudsons Coffee in the international arrivals area in Terminal 1 (T1) as part of an ongoing passenger improvements program.
The newly refreshed food and beverage offering will provide a selection of healthy food and drink options, and will also include gourmet café Veloce Espresso launching in early 2016. The new locations will provide customers with somewhere to relax in comfort while they wait to greet travelers or unwind after touching down at the airport.
Coopers Alehouse is an Australian award-winning food and beverage concept, and is the second outlet to launch at Sydney Airport having already opened in Terminal 2. The bar will feature the full range of Coopers brews, together with an assortment of local and imported beers, fine wines and pre-mixed drinks. Hudsons Coffee will offer passengers a wide range of coffees as well as a selection of gourmet sandwiches, sweet treats and cold drinks.
Glyn Williams, general manager, Sydney Airport, said, “Sydney Airport is committed to providing unique food and beverage experiences to our customers and we’re delighted to announce two new vibrant offerings at the refreshed T1 Arrivals.
“Both venues will offer a comfortable and contemporary setting for visitors and international travelers to catch up when they arrive in Sydney. We’re confident the refreshed offering will further enhance the overall experience at the airport.”
Adam Summerville, managing director, Emirates Leisure Retail (ELRA), the operator of the two new offerings, said, “ELRA is excited to expand its footprint with Hudsons Coffee and Coopers Alehouse at Sydney Airport’s T1. Through our award-winning Hudsons Coffee and recognized ‘World’s Best Airport Bar – 2014’ brand concept in Coopers Alehouse, we are pleased two strong retail brand offers will deliver an enhanced experience at T1.”
