Passenger Terminal Expo 2019, taking place at the ExCeL convention center in London on March 26-28, promises to be the biggest event yet, with more than 7,000 attendees, including 300+ exhibitors and 375+ international speakers.
Passenger Terminal Expo and Conference is one of the most important events in the airport and airline industry calendar, where visitors can hear from a number of industry-leading guest speakers and network with fellow professionals to discuss the hottest topics affecting airports.
This year’s host airport has now been unveiled as London Heathrow, with chief executive John Holland-Kaye presenting the opening address and keynote speech at the conference.
As the UK’s only hub airport, Heathrow handles nearly 80 million passengers a year and is the UK’s gateway for tourism, trade and investment. Following recent parliamentary backing for the airport’s expansion, Heathrow is now progressing through the planning process for one of the largest developments in the airport’s history, with the addition of a third runway and accompanying infrastructure.
To cater for travelers from more than 200 destinations globally, Heathrow provides world-class facilities and has been recognized as the ‘Best Airport in Western Europe’ for the fourth year in a row at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, which will once again be held at this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo.
Alongside the exhibits and conference speakers, visitors to this year’s expo will also be treated to a complementary networking breakfast on March 26, from 8:00am.
