Going through airport security can be quite a trying experience. With the many rules applying to baggage, and the resultant seemingly endless queue, getting screened before a flight is time-consuming.
To streamline airport security, aviation security specialist ICTS Europe will launch the latest version of its InnerEye threat detection solution at Passenger Terminal EXPO 2018.
Designed to augment performance among security screening staff, InnerEye is a headset with EEG capabilities that interprets x-ray images in real time by analyzing the screener’s brainwaves.
The new generation InnerEye to be presented at the EXPO includes new artificial intelligence features and enhanced computer vision capabilities to further boost screening speed and level of accuracy.
This truly revolutionary interface allows a single screener to analyze thousands of images per hour, while maintaining high detection levels and low false alarm rates, thereby making the entire security process simultaneously more accurate and efficient.
InnerEye is easily integrated with any standard x-ray machine and requires no changes to the airport’s existing HBS or central checkpoint infrastructure.
Increased security through increased awareness ICTS also notes that public venues such as airports and other transport hubs are becoming increasingly vulnerable to terrorist attack. To help counter this risk, ICTS has developed Aware – a new training app designed to introduce non-security staff to the principles of security, so that they may become active participants in the effort to keep the airport safe.
Using interactive methods, Aware can help your airport capitalize on staff already working there by guiding them on how to take notice of, and report on, suspicious signs relating to people, objects, vehicles or facilities.
Aware can be easily accessed on the employee’s mobile phone, or on any other device such as a PC or tablet. To find out more visit ICTS Europe on stand 510.
