French airport operator Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur has agreed a 10-year contract with advertising firm JCDecaux France for the supply, implementation and operation of advertising media in Nice, Cannes Mandelieu, Saint-Tropez and Sky Valet Paris-Le Bourget airports.
The contract includes the management of advertising space in Terminals 1 and 2 of Nice Côte d’Azur airport, as well as areas specific to general aviation at Nice, Cannes Mandelieu, Saint Tropez and Sky Valet Paris-Le Bourget airports.
JCDecaux’s proposal was chosen due to its ‘less is more’ approach with streamlined circulation areas, a unified all-digital offering and use of modern, innovate media such as HD digital touchscreens.
Dominique Thillaud, chairman of the board of directors of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, said, “This important decision marks a new stage in the implementation of a commercial offering that reflects our territory, around an aesthetic and contemporary communication system in line with the optimization of our passengers’ experience. With its 77 digital screens, Nice Côte d’Azur becomes the most digitized airport in France, facilitating flows for the greater comfort of our passengers, thanks to a streamlined, modern system that blends perfectly with the architecture of our airport.”
Filip Soete, director of the commercial business unit, Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, said, “We have decided to work with the best advertising operator by selecting an ambitious proposal. The aim is to offer passengers quality advertising locations and media, for the most part digital, capable of entertaining them as they pass through the airport, while incorporating these items into the architecture of the buildings.”
