Security system manufacturer Implant Sciences Corporation has announced that its QS-B220 desktop explosives and drugs trace detector has been deployed to more than 160 airports across the USA and Europe over the past 12 months.
Over 1,000 units were sold to airports in 14 European countries in the past year and Implant Sciences began shipping an order of 1,170 units by the US Transportation Security Administration in December 2015. The company also captured a 122-unit order from the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority in January 2016.
