Restaurateur HMSHost has partnered with renowned Venezuelan chef Lorena Garcia to open a new tapas offering in Terminal A at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport in Texas.
Lorena Garcia TAPAS y Cocina will provide travelers with a range of traditional tapas dishes such as Spanish olives, Yuca fries, black bean and queso fundido, and ropa vieja, as well as a range of chef specials such as the char grilled churrasco steak with chimichurri sauce, or the prickly pear baby back ribs slow cooked in the restaurant’s signature BBQ sauce.
Anthony Alessi, vice president of business development, HMSHost, said, “It is an honor to bring this restaurant to DFW International Airport. Lorena Garcia is one of the country’s most prominent Latin chefs and her local and national charisma and innovative approach to small plate dining really shines through on the menu at the new Lorena Garcia TAPAS y Cocina. Lorena and the airport have been great partners in bringing this exciting dining experience to travelers.”
Garcia said, “We are thrilled about opening Lorena Garcia TAPAS y Cocina for DFW Airport travelers. This restaurant is a great success for the Lorena Garcia brand and I am excited for travelers to try our delicious menu items. We have been partners with HMSHost for many years and are very proud to continue that relationship at this new restaurant.”
