Air transport technology provider SITA announced today (October 18) that its IT services and solutions deployed at Changi Airport in Singapore have successfully met ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification requirements for information security. Changi is the first airport in the Asia-Pacific region to work with SITA to achieve this global accreditation.
Steve Lee, chief information officer/senior vice president, technology, Changi Airport Group (CAG), the airport operator, said, “We congratulate SITA on achieving the ISO 27001 certification. CAG values our partner’s commitment to continuously strengthen the information security for Changi Airport’s systems. It will enable us to achieve higher levels of service assurance and passenger satisfaction.”

Working with CAG we have achieved this global accreditation across multiple systems and applications. This includes SITA AirportConnect, our common-use platform, baggage and passenger flow management systems and passenger self-service kiosks, bag drop, and automated boarding gates.”
