A consortium led by Vinci Airports has finalized the acquisition of 60% of shares in Aéroports de Lyon (ADL), the concession holder for Lyon Saint-Exupéry and Lyon Bron airports in France.
The consortium, which also includes the public sector financial institution of Caisse des Dépôts (CDC) and French banking firm Crédit Agricole Assurances, will now control operating rights over the two airports until December 31, 2047.
The ambition of the new shareholders is to develop the two airports to exceed 15 million passengers by 2032. The three members of the consortium will also help to support the development of the region and thus to make an active contribution to strengthening the international reputation of Lyon.
This project is founded on the complementary experience of the three partners, combining the operating knowledge of Vinci Airports with the long-term investment expertise of the Caisse des Dépôts and Crédit Agricole Assurances.
