A bespoke Kentec safety system is being installed in the new Nkr 4bn (US$475m) Bergen Flesland International Airport in Norway.
The Novec 1230 extinguishing system will be controlled by a Kentec Syncro XT+ network, compromising 11 different control panels, a loop powered status indicator, 16 zone LED indicators and Apollo communications protocol.
Norwegian firm Brannslokkesystemer AS imports, designs and assembles automatic gas and extinguishing systems for the marine and land-based market throughout Norway, and was commissioned to install the systems.
The terminal will treble the airport’s capacity and include a new train line connecting Flesland to Bergen city center.
