Auckland airport has invited customers to join its new app-based program Strata Club, designed to recognize user travel choices with personalized services and benefits.
Strata Club is free to join and benefits are offered in tiers, based on a customer’s purchases over a year. They are available to all international and domestic travelers regardless of their airline or class of travel, and can also be accessed by Auckland Airport visitors. Members can access their membership information using the Auckland Airport app.
Jason Delamore, general manager for marketing and technology at Auckland Airport, said, “Strata Club is one of the many ways we are investing in getting to know our customers better so we can provide them with more personalized services and benefits that recognize their individual travel needs and choices.
“It has been designed by our customers for our customers, and is part of an extensive program of short and long term improvements that will help us offer a rewarding, personal experience to all our customers, every time they visit Auckland Airport.
“Over the past few years we have invested heavily in new technology and tools to digitize our airport operations and give our customers a more personal experience. The Strata Club launch builds on those earlier technology investments and becomes the base for us to continue to recognize our customers’ individual travel preferences.”
Benefits include longer access to free wi-fi, parking upgrades and discounts, special offers from the 23 participating general, duty-free and food and beverage retailers, and discounted entry to the Emperor Lounge, which is due to be replaced with a larger facility called the Strata Lounge in the coming months.
Members collect one Strata Point for every NZ$1 spent with Strata Club Partners, which are converted to eVouchers. There are four tiers to the program – club, silver, gold and platinum.
