Paris Aéroport and airline partner Transavia are trialing facial recognition technology at Paris-Orly, aimed at making the check in and boarding processes simpler and smoother for passengers.
Passengers aged over 18 years of age who are traveling on flights eligible for the biometric program with Transavia, departing from Paris-Orly and hold a valid identity card or passport can choose the facial recognition test program.
This innovative process temporarily and securely scans and stores the passenger’s biometric data to speed up the baggage check-in process and the passage through the boarding gates.
