Airport assistance provider OmniServ has recruited Matthew Harrison as its new operations director.
Harrison, who joined the company this month, has several years’ experience in senior management positions with leading UK companies including interim operations director for UK ferry company Caledonian MacBrayne. Prior to that, he worked for NCP, Rentokil, Condor Logistics, BT, Securicor and BAA, where he was general manager for London Heathrow Airport Terminal 1.
In his new role at OmniServ, Harrison will immediately assume responsibility for OmniServ’s Heathrow operations. He will be adding the company’s Gatwick operations to his remit over the next few months and, as of October 1, 2017, will be in charge of all OmniServ’s operations at UK regional airports, including Edinburgh, Liverpool and London Stansted.
Antony Marke, managing director of OmniServ, said, “This is excellent news for us as a business, strengthening our senior leadership team and I am very much looking forward to working with Matthew. His track record is impressive and demonstrates huge ability in managing complex services, operations and logistics – including his time at BAA experience, which means he understands how airlines and airports operate and how they interact.”
