Denver International Airport (DEN) is to host its fourth annual ‘Beer Flights’ beer garden, coinciding with popular worldwide Oktoberfest celebrations and the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado.
The beer garden will be open from 11am-7pm daily from September 28 to October 9, with tickets available at the door for US$10 (this includes a souvenir glass to taste 10 samples of beer). Visitors must be 21 or older and possess a valid ID to gain entry, and the event is cash only.
Beer Flights is organized in collaboration the Colorado Brewers Guild. Ten Colorado breweries will be represented at the event and each brewery will have two beers to sample. The 10 breweries are Left Hand Brewing, Fate Brewing Company, Prost Brewing, Avery Brewing, Bristol Brewing, Funkwerks, Bootstrap Brewing, Denver Brewing Co, River North Brewery and Telluride Brewing Co.
Kim Day, CEO at DEN, said, “It is great to have Beer Flights back for a fourth year to showcase Colorado’s outstanding microbrew industry. This popular event brings a taste of Colorado to the airport for our passengers and community to enjoy. After all, Colorado is well known for great beer and what better way to enjoy it than at the airport on our stunning outdoor plaza?”
DEN will have entertainment daily from 4pm-6pm, and attendees can also enjoy brew trivia, table games and more. Passengers can purchase souvenir pint glasses that are available only at the beer garden.
DEN will use #DENBeerFlights when posting photos or information about the event on social media.
