Air New Zealand has reopened airport lounges with restrictions in place due to COVID-19.
Customers have been welcomed back at the Wellington and Christchurch domestic lounges, and regional lounges in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Nelson, Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill.
Lounges will not be serving alcohol, but food and drink options will be added over coming weeks. Self-service buffets, however, will not be available, with customers being seated and receiving table service with packaged snacks and beverages.
Numbers will be limited to 100 people at any one time.
Auckland’s domestic lounge remains closed for refurbishment, but valet parking services have resumed.
