Customer loyalty specialist Collinson and global fintech expert Revolut are to provide complimentary access to airport lounges during flight delays.
Revolut Premium and Metal card holders whose flights are delayed for an hour or more will have complimentary access to over 1,000 lounges in 500+ airports in more than 100 countries.
As part of the SmartDelay scheme, card holders can access the lounges as they wait for a delayed flight, regardless of their type of ticket. Lounge access includes complimentary snacks and refreshments, free wi-fi, newspapers and magazines, as well as use of conference and business facilities (subject to availability). Premium customers can bring one accompanying guest with them to enjoy the same benefits, while Metal customers can bring up to three complimentary guests.
To use the new benefit, Premium and Metal customers must download the Revolut app and register their flight details. Should the registered flight be delayed by more than 60 minutes, customers will immediately receive a complimentary airport lounge pass via the app.
