Shared-use lounge specialist Airport Dimensions and local New Orleans partner JCM Management Group have announced the opening of The Club MSY in the Louis Armstrong International Airport, New Orleans.
Throughout the lounge, unique decorative fixtures and furnishings give a local sense of place. Giving a nod to the rich history of jazz, the bar is designed in the shape of a saxophone and the new lounge features an illuminated deconstructed hand-blown crystal chandelier designed and created for the club by local artist and fourth-generation craftsman Erikdavid Kraemer.
The Club MSY also features photography by award-winning photographer David Spielman, artwork by Ayo Scott, unique New Orleans-inspired cuisine created by chef John Folse, and a selection of cocktails and spirits curated by mixologist Kathy Casey.
“Following an exciting year of global expansion, we are excited to kick off 2020 with the opening of our 24th airport lounge, The Club MSY,” said Nancy Knipp, president of Airport Dimensions, Americas. “The Club MSY will provide all passengers traveling through ‘The Big Easy’ with a premium lounge experience, regardless of their airline or class of ticket. Our tagline is ‘Spaces Well Built. Time Well Spent.’ and The Club MSY is a perfect example of our continued commitment to these values.”

The zones include: a Productivity Zone, for business travelers in need of a workspace; a Relax Zone and a Rest Zone; and a Replenish Zone featuring an all-inclusive dining area with banquette seating and tables.
The bar has been designed to provide a higher energy space and will offer a signature cocktail menu developed exclusively for The Club. Throughout the year The Club MSY bar will host performances from local musicians.
