More and more people are traveling for pleasure, and according to a 2019 forecast from UNWTO, the world tourism organization, international tourist arrivals will reach 1.4 billion within two years’ time.
In Hungary, tourism continues to grow steadily, now accounting for 8% of international arrivals. The country’s main airport, Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest, has turned to automated border control in an effort to develop a smoother passenger flow through the airport.
