The TWA Hotel at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport will open the Runway Rink on November 30.
It will operate seven days a week until the end of February 2020. Hotel guests will be able to skate around the hotel’s 1958 Lockheed Constellation Connie airplane.
The custom-built 56 x 44ft (17 x 13.4m) Runway Rink — made from frozen NYC tap water — will also feature aviation-themed skating displays.
