Paradies Lagardère and the Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA), operator of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, have announced that MOD Pizza is open in the North Terminal.
At MOD, travelers will be able to create their own individual artisan-style pizzas and salads, using a combination of over 30 toppings. Pizzas are baked within minutes, and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD Pizza will also offer breakfast for early travelers, including The Red Eye, topped with egg, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, green pepper and diced tomato; and The Layover, topped with egg, shredded mozzarella, mild sausage, sliced red onion, and fresh rosemary.
“MOD Pizza has a strong fan base because of its delicious pizzas and salads, and its ‘people first’ core values, working to make positive change in the communities they serve,” said Regynald Washington, president, Paradies Lagardère Dining Division.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the redevelopment at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, and to bring MOD to its many travelers,” said Scott Svenson, co-founder and CEO, MOD Pizza. “As we continue our expansion across the USA, we look forward to introducing MOD in unique and compelling settings that allow us to share craveable, artisan-style pizzas, and our purpose-led, people first culture.”
Since 2018, MOD has partnered with Generosity Feeds to provide over one million meals to help close the gap on childhood hunger.
