San Francisco Airport has won three of the top prizes in the annual Airports Council International-North America awards.
The California airport took the top spot in the following categories: Community Education and Outreach, for the development of a high school educational curriculum titled Sound Waves, about the ways that sound carries in and around an airport; Newsletters, for the spring 2019 SFO Newsletter; and Overall Public Relations Programs (Large Airports), for a program celebrating lunar new year.
“We are so proud to be recognized by Airports Council International-North America for our marketing and communications efforts,” said airport director Ivar C Satero.
“We strive to deliver an exceptional airport experience, and our marketing and communications team plays a vital role in this effort, with industry-leading programs that engage with our customers, our employees and our communities.”
San Francisco also earned honorable mentions in the Annual Report and Video and Film Production categories.
