Lagardère Travel Retail has appointed three new CEOs, in Bulgaria, Romania, and the UK & Ireland.
Effective November 1, Stefan Picard, ex-CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Bulgaria and Romania has been appointed EVP commercial development and transformation at Lagardère Travel Retail (in the duty-free division).
Mladen Yordanov becomes CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Bulgaria, which he joined in 2008 and where he has been chief financial officer, store network director, deputy general manager and managing director.
Marius Vacalau has been appointed CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Romania. He joined the Group in 2007, as commercial and marketing director of Lagardère Travel Retail in Romania, where he has been chief operating officer since 2011.
Marion Engelhard became CEO Lagardère Travel Retail UK & Ireland on October 1, taking over from Amaury Dehen, who has become the COO of Lagardère Travel Retail in Abu Dhabi. Engelhard joined the Lagardère Group in 2006, working in the internal audit department. In 2010 she moved to the business controlling department in the duty-free division. In 2012 Engelhard moved to Italy, where she helped created the Italian subsidiary, before returning to Paris in 2017 to head the operations and development department at DFG.
