Turkish firm TAV Operation Services has opened two lounges at John F Kennedy International Airport, the busiest international gateway in North America.
A subsidiary of TAV Airports, TAV OS operates 90 lounges in 28 countries and the latest additions to its portfolio are its two ‘primeclass’ lounges at New York JFK International Airport.
The company will operate two lounges – one in Terminal 1 and the other in Terminal 4. Spanning 773m2 (8,320ft2), they will accommodate more than 200 thousand passengers annually.
TAV Airports CEO and president Sani Sener said, “Today, TAV OS welcomes around eight million passengers annually, at 90 lounges in 28 countries. In 2020, the company aims to provide services to more than 10 million passengers in 110 lounges in 30 countries. We are proud to be a preferred brand in the USA, the largest aviation market globally.”
Passengers can access both lounges via LoungeMe. Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Diners Club, Dragon Pass cardholders and Lounge Buddy customers will also soon have access to both lounges.
The busiest international hub in North America and one of the four airports that serve the NYC area, JFK served 61.6 million passengers in 2018 – 33.5 million of them international passengers.
