Paradies Lagardère and San Francisco International Airport are celebrating the arrival of two new concepts at the recently opened US$2.4bn Harvey Milk Terminal 1.
Mills Cargo, a travel essentials store that celebrates the heritage of San Francisco International, is located near Gate B3, and Bourbon Pub, a local favorite helmed by chef Michael Mina, offers delicious bar fare and beverages near Gate B7/B8.
These concepts are expected to not only enhance the customer experience, but also to embody the airport’s spirit of innovation, its focus on the environment and sustainability, and its commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.
“Paradies Lagardère is thrilled to bring Bourbon Pub and Mills Cargo to San Francisco International Airport and the new terminal,” said Gregg Paradies, the travel food and retail specialist’s president and CEO. “Chef Michael Mina has a global following; fans of his restaurants, and those unfamiliar with his concepts, will love the delicious menu and relaxed atmosphere of Bourbon Pub. And we’re excited to know that Mills Cargo has resonated with travelers, with its selection of local and regional goods and travel essentials in a space that speaks to the history of the airport.”
Mills Cargo offers local and regional lifestyle gifts and souvenirs, healthy drinks and snacks, and travel essential items. The store has been designed to be reminiscent of a friendly neighborhood store, and will offer local favorites as well as sports apparel and merchandise from college and professional sports teams such as Stanford University, the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants.
Bourbon Pub takes ‘a witty, irreverent and rebellious approach to the classic American food and beverage experience’. It offers snacks such as chicken wings, nachos and burgers.
