London Southend Airport has launched the Grab airport app, enabling passengers to pre-order food from two of its F&B outlets.
Travelers using London Southend can now order takeaway food from The Navigator and Giraffe Stop in the Departures Lounge ahead of their flight.
The system works in real time, so when passengers place and pay for their order, they receive a confirmation and then a notification telling them that it’s ready to be picked up.
Glyn Jones, CEO of Stobart Aviation, which owns the airport, said, “We are continually working to improve the experience our passengers have when they get to the airport in terms of food, drink and shopping, and I am sure this latest development will prove incredibly popular with people who really appreciate the unique, simply easier airport experience we are offering.”
